let the napping begin

We went back to Special Beginnings birthing center today for a checkup for Erin and Kai. According to the midwife, Kathy, Kai looks aware and healthy.

Kai has a different blood type than mom, so Erin has to go get a shot to prevent any complications with any future pregnancies that we might have.

He’s opening his eyes a bit more today, and still feeds approximately every 15 seconds. But he’s sleeping well and things are looking good.
